Well, it is exactly one week until we have our move-out inspection! Getting down to the wire, but it still doesn't feel real.
This weekend was super busy for us.  We had a going away beach party on Saturday.  Little man had an awesome time, he played all day with 2 of his friends in the sand and surf.  We were out there from 10:30 until about 4:30 or 5ish.  It was so nice to spend a relaxed day with some of our friends before we have to leave.  Once we got home we decided to do early Father's Day/DH's birthday present time since we knew that Father's Day (the next day) would be super busy for us as well.  He liked his presents, but he really loved his main birthday present that his mom, my mom and I all pooled together to get him; a Kindle Fire.  After present time we went to Applebee's and ate -- little man decided he wanted to eat a corndog and dip it in apple sauce! Haha DH made a face and tried to get him to stop, I told him "Hey, as long as little man's eating, I don't care how he eats it or what he combines together!"
Sunday was pretty emotional.  We went to church here in North Carolina for the last time.  We had so many well wishes, hugs, and handshakes that it was almost overwhelming.  I so love our church family at Enon Chapel.  We will miss everyone there so much.  After church we went out to lunch to Cookout with some of our other good friends that hadn't been able to make it out to the beach the day before.  It was our first time there and I was impressed.  Later that afternoon we went on base and went fishing at Orde Pond one last time, just the three of us. DH even got to help little man with his casting technique...I just love watching them together. :)

We saw some large fish in there, but DH was the only one to catch any.  He actually caught two fish, so it turned out to be a good Fathers Day for him!
Today it is back to packing and cleaning.  We are really getting close to having everything totally packed up.  Eek!
